Nordic-Baltic super events of Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Trials, and Regulatory Affairs 2024 in Helsinki

Annual topical days for professionals in drug safety, clinical trials, and marketing authorizations will take place in 2024 in Helsinki, Finland as international events, bringing together professionals not only from Finland but also from other Nordic countries and the Baltics. The International Drug Safety Seminar will be held under the name Nordic-Baltic Conference in Pharmacovigilance. The event will take place on October 8, 2024, in Helsinki, both on-site and as a live webinar.

Moreover, the Finnish Clinical Trials Forum, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will be known this year as the Nordic-Baltic Conference in Clinical Trials. It will be held on October 30-31, 2024, also in Helsinki and as a live webinar.

International events related to drug safety and clinical trials were last organized in Finland in 2017.

Additionally, the Regulatory Affairs event, which focuses on marketing authorizations, is further internationalizing and will now cover the Baltics for the first time this year.

“We organize international events focused on Regulatory Affairs in alternating years with the Swedish organization Läkemedelsakademin. This year’s event will take place in Helsinki as a live webinar on May 30, 2024,” says Ulla Partanen, Pharmacan Head of Learning Services.

“We are proud to bring together professionals once again from different Nordic countries and, this time, also from the Baltics. By hosting international super events, we put Finland on the map in the pharmaceutical world,” adds Ulla Partanen.

Comprehensive International Training Offerings in the Pharmaceutical Industry

The traditional GMP seminar, which has been held since 2003, is transforming into the international GMP Forum this year. Focused on good manufacturing practices in pharmaceutical production, the GMP Forum will take place on April 25, 2024.

New Active Ingredients webinars are also part of the international training offerings, providing comprehensive coverage of the latest pharmaceutical compounds. In the fall of 2024, Pharmaca’s English-language training lineup includes events such as the Nordic Medicines Sustainability Forum and Successful Product Launch on the Nordic Market.
